 How to Make a Career with NDA (National Defence Academy)

1. Eligibility Criteria

  • Age: 16.5 to 19.5 years

  • Qualification: 12th pass with Physics & Maths for Navy/Air Force; any stream for Army

  • Nationality: Indian

2. Written Examination (UPSC NDA Exam)

  • Conducted twice a year by UPSC

  • Subjects: Mathematics + General Ability Test (GAT)

  • Duration: 5 hours (total)

3. SSB Interview

  • Conducted in two stages: Screening & Psychology/Group Tasks/Interview

4. Medical Examination

5. Final Merit List & Joining

  • Based on marks in written exam + SSB Interview
