Every year, lakhs of students dream of joining the National Defence Academy (NDA) to serve the nation as officers in the Indian Army, Navy, or Air Force. The first step towards that dream is filling out the NDA application form correctly.
Here’s a complete step-by-step guide to help you fill the NDA 2026 application form easily.

🗓️ Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the official UPSC website:
👉 https://upsconline.nic.in

You’ll find the link “Online Application for Various Examinations” — click on it.

🧾 Step 2: Click on “NDA & NA Examination (I) 2026”

You’ll see a list of exams. Find and click on “NDA & NA (I) 2026” or “NDA & NA (II) 2026” depending on the notification.

There are two parts in the NDA form:

• Part I – Registration

• Part II – Application Fee, Photo/Signature Upload, and Centre Selection

🪪 Step 3: Fill Part I – Registration

You’ll need to fill out your personal details, including:

• Full Name (as per 10th certificate)

• Date of Birth

• Gender & Nationality

• Parent’s Name

• Educational Qualification

• Address & Contact Details

After entering all details correctly, click on Submit and note down your Registration ID.

💳 Step 4: Pay the Application Fee

• General / OBC: ₹100

• SC / ST / Female Candidates: No Fee

You can pay through:

• Debit/Credit Card

• UPI

• Net Banking

• Cash at SBI Bank (by downloading the challan)

🖼️ Step 5: Upload Documents

Upload the following as per UPSC guidelines:

• Recent Passport Size Photograph (JPG format, 20–300 KB)

• Signature (JPG format, 20–300 KB)

• Photo Identity Proof (like Aadhaar, PAN, Driving License, etc.)

Make sure your photo is clear and recent — blurry or old photos may lead to rejection.

📍 Step 6: Select Examination Centre

Choose your preferred exam centre (e.g., Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad, Delhi, etc.).
Centres are allotted on a first-come, first-serve basis, so apply early!

✅ Step 7: Agree to Declaration and Submit

Before submission, carefully check all entered details.
Click “I Agree”, then Submit the form.

You can then download and print your application form for future reference.
