The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the National Defence Academy (NDA) Examination twice every year to recruit candidates for the Army, Navy, and Air Force wings of the NDA, as well as the Indian Naval Academy (INA). For aspirants who wish to join the armed forces as officers, NDA is one of the most prestigious and competitive exams in India. Eligibility Criteria Nationality Must be an Indian citizen, or A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or Tibetan refugee (arrived before 1st January 1962), or Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and East African countries.
